From: Matt in Mass.
Everyone seems to be talking about the actors, but it seems to me that with something like g&s, the director would be far more important. When translating a story like this into film, the director would be treading a very fine line between retaining the ambiguity and uncertainty of g&s's identities (making both of them flesh-and-blood humans may already be going too far...), without making it so ambiguous that it becomes a piece of unwatchable art-house dreck. Does anyone else feel the same way? Or has a director already been chosen?
