That is interesting you mention that you thought that Paul was the romantic of the two. I have also seen the Chicago exhibit- and felt that Paul was a Pale or Poor Man's Vincent at times. His quoted sentiments seemed to heighten this interpretation, as they were vaguely poetical and at times mocking of Vincent's style. That is just my interpretation however..
