Dear Mr. Bantock, I was just wondering, do you find the tendency for fans to try to decipher every little nuance of your books to be a deterrent when writing? It seems from many of the questions posted, that people want to analyze every piece of information from what "Post Box 1 F" means to what "23 + 46" equals. It seems sort of funny that people seem to think this may unlock the mysterious universe that is Gryphon or Griffin and Sabine. Anyway, I guess my question is, how do you feel when your fans get caught up in the details, instead of the overall "message" or ideal each story tells? Please don't get me wrong, it's pretty great that this many people want to know so much about your books and every detail in them. You may not care a thing about this question, as it just means that people are interested and anyway they choose to reflect that interest is okay, but I was just curious if you had any opinion on it.
Thank you, Arete
