About six or seven years ago, after reading the Griffin and Sabine trilogy, I sent you a letter with a proposed solution to the puzzle. You responded with a beautiful handwritten postcard (it had a pickle on it) of my very own with detailed hints and tender encouragement. I had always meant to thank you for the kind gesture, but had not found the time or the words. Last week I was delighted to find "The Gryphon" at my local bookstore, and immediatly read it through a few times. What I found when I opened it was a wonderful twist on the story that I have thought through and attempted to analyze for years. I look forward to the next books, and the possible solution to the mystery. Your works are beautifully crafted, intriguing and delightful...
