The Venetian's Wife

From: Janet - Dedham (Boston) MA

My everlasting gratitude to you: It began with "Griffin and Sabine", continued with "The Venetian's Wife". I was transported from the des- parate world I inhabited at that time (colon cancer!) to your fantastic, mysterious places, engaging me wonderfully, distracting me fortuit- ously, and, I am positive, nourishing me as much as my "chemo" "nourished" (!) me. Thank you and God, I have beaten my beast, though my beautiful bod is amazingly scarred.........my family is blind to my great beauty and talent.....I take refuge in reading artists of your ilk, writing poetry now (in my dotage), and look back on a long creative life as a jewelry designer, maker of fancy pastries (you should taste my biscotti!), and visiting my treasure of a museum, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts! It is a precious pleasure to have made your acquaintance!!! everlasting, Janet
