ah, off the top of my head it seemed that the first trilogy grew increasingly serious and urgent as it progressed. The subsequent books while keeping in serious themes had a more general feel of that lofty emotion "humor". I just figure that even with Griffin finding a place for himself in the universe that a character so skittish and quite reasonably neurotic, could comfortably settle into anything. I also think that Sabine finds a certain joy in reigning him back in, so different circumstances but i think the dynamic will actually stay similar. TVstatic@aol.com
