In general, I find the "voyeuristic" TV shows unpleasant and rarely watch them. I would not like my life exposed like that, no matter how entertaining it might be to others. (not!) What I really don't understand is why so many people are obsessed with it, especially since it's all so fake.
But I didn't feel like a voyeur with the Griffin and Sabine books - after all, their *purpose* was for us to read them. It was delightful to find the little surprises, sort of like finding an extra present under the Christmas tree that you hadn't noticed before.
