In order to see that this beautiful story is not tragically mutilated, you need actors with substance to portray your characters of substance. I feel that the best choice for the role of Sabine would be either Winona Ryder or someone with the same amount of depth of character as this particular actress. As for the casting of Griffin, I would seriously consider John Hannah (Four Weddings and a Funeral) for the role. He and Winona are similar enough in both appearance and characteristics that they would compliment one another in the roles, while adding the much needed depth to the film (keeping the depth of the story... if that is at all possible to do when creating a "movie" out of such an extraordinary idea!).
